In 1990 on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, I went with Scott Crabtree up to Midland, Ontario, Canada, to go Winter Hiking. Prior to this adventure, I had no idea whatsoever about the proper way to hike in many feet of snow with the weather way below zero. Thanks to Scott (the person in Red), I am now an avid Winter Camper.
